In recent months we have seen headlines stating the National Guard being deployed to Los Angeles, California, Portland, Oregon, Chicago, Illinois, and Washington, D.C. under the pretense that federal property is under attack.
Is it true? I want to hear from you LA, Portland, Chicago and DC folks. Are Federal Buildings/Property being attacked? Is it a war zone in your cities?
If it is why would the political leaders of those cities and states say they are capable of handling any issues and the National Guard is not needed.
Our current situation is getting to be very strained. I swear soon it will be out of control!
It is why I am THE CHILDLESS SINGLE CAT LADY and I keep saying it over and over, for the first time in my life, I AM AFRAID OF MY GOVERNMENT!
Thomas Jefferson said, “When the people are afraid of the government, that is tyranny”
We have the NO KINGS movement going on throughout the nation. It is growing, evolving. It is now not just NO KINGS, but NO DICTATORS.
Remember, our Founding Fathers called King George a tyrant.
Remember protesters in Boston were fired upon by British soldiers. It was called the Boston Massacre. It was one of the events that led to the Revolutionary War that helped create our beloved country.
With the National Guard deployed and the number of people joining the NO KINGS movement increasing, will history repeat itself?
Those carrying guns, please think before you pull that trigger. These are your countrymen and women you will be firing upon.
Here is another Thomas Jefferson quote, “A true patriot will defend his country from its government”.
One final thought, and I hope Congress and the Supreme Court will somehow have these words find them: the founding fathers created the Constitution to control the mob. The mob being the average citizen who could rise up and revolt against the government leaders. Without the protections for our liberties, freedoms, and civil rights the Constitution has provided us all our lives, the government leaders will lose control of the mob, as is seen by the gaining strength of the NO KINGS movement.
Yes, I am childless and I own a cat, do not make assumptions as to how or why, ask.
